MegsMenopause is the brainchild of former music industry executive, events planner and nineties Brit Pop icon Meg Mathews.
Meg turned fifty in 2016 and almost immediately began to experience the first symptoms of the menopause. She was shocked at the lack of support and understanding shown to women during this time in their lives and has made it is her mission to empower women and break the stigma around the menopause.
Based on her own experience, Meg realised that there were virtually no online resources dedicated to the menopause and made for women by women. On 18th October 2017 for Worlds Menopause Day, MEGSMENOPAUSE.COM was officially launched in the UK – a first-of-its-kind online platform for women going through the menopause.
Between September 2018 and January 2019 MegsMenopause launched a range of several beauty and health products aiming at easing some of the menopause symptoms. Starting with a range of CBD products called ‘The M Blend’, which have proven to be efficient on help tackling the extreme anxiety, depression, sleep deprivation and joint pain caused primarily by the decline on oestrogen levels, an additional intimate beauty was released to complement on the treatment of further symptoms.
